Effective Communication in Leadership and Professional Development Training in association with PAMCA.

Wow! What a time two of my associates have had in Rwanda delivering this training.

Some background to catch you up; If you didn’t know already, as well as 1-1 transformational coaching, I also have Leading with C.L.A.R.I.T.Y, which delivers transformational leadership coaching. I partner with corporations such as law firms, and universities such as UCL. Within that, I have a scope of incredible coaching associates that deliver the training sessions.

I was approached back in summer about this training for Women in Vector Control, with PAMCA – The Pan-African Mosquito Control Association.  The event sounded incredible, and it was a brilliant opportunity to effectively make an impactful change on the careers of the women in attendance. Unfortunately, I was already booked for something else, so instead, I decided to ask two associates to go to Rwanda to deliver the training over the course of 3 days. The timeline was short, and we worked incredibly hard to pull together course content that would have the greatest impact. We focused on content that would make the biggest impact: Leadership styles, confidence building, communication, emotional intelligence, self-care, and effective goal setting among other things.

Althea Blake and Lillian Ogbogoh, who went out there said it was an incredibly emotional and transformative few days, for all parties, including themselves. Literally, before their eyes, these women in attendance were releasing their fears, and the mental blocks that were holding them back, and instead, stepping into their confidence and owning their power as women in leadership roles.

“Words cannot fully capture the honour and privilege I had at being one of the facilitators at this years Women in Vector Control event. The women that were sat in that room for 3 days are leaders in their fields. Sometimes the first and only in their department, family, and country to be in that position. The transformation that happened had to be seen to be believed.”
